(Liège, Belgium November 25, 2009). The World Cultural Council celebrated it´s 26th Award Ceremony with the host of the University of Liège

Prof. Sir John Houghton, President of the John Ray Initiative, United Kingdom received the 2009 Albert Einstein World Award of Science from Prof. Bernard Rentier, Rector of the University of Liège and authorities of the World Cultural Council.

“This prize from the World Cultural Council has come as a wonderful surprise. I feel most honoured to receive such a prestigious award. As I accept it I realize how much I owe to those who taught me years ago and to those who have worked with me during my varied scientific career.”

The Hungarian artist Marcell Jankovics received the 2009 “Leonardo da Vinci” World Award of Arts from Prof. Bernard Rentier, Rector of the University of Liège and authorities of the World Cultural Council.
