Celebrating 40 years

This award is not to recognize my past, but I accept it to promise you a hopeful future.

Especially these days it is crucial to remind people that we are all world citizens living on a small and fragile planet under the same starry night.

In the next few decades, we need to do something unprecedented: achieve a sustainable existence on Earth.
