Prof. Gustav Nossal, Professor of Medical Biology at the University of Melbourne, Australia was granted with the “Albert Einstein” World Award of Science.

Many contributions to immunology, his discovery of the cellular basis of antibody formation proved to be the keystone for the general framework of thinking about the immune response now accepted by immunologists world wide.

The World Cultural Council granted the “José Vasconcelos” World Award of Education to Prof. Lev Shevrinin recognition of his more than 30 years of fruitful pedagogical and other educational work, particularly his literary work in the field of children’s mathematical education. The three remarkable books which Prof. Shevrin has co-authored. I. “Geometry for small children” II. “Mathematical ABC” III. “Mathematical 5-6 textbook Interlocutor”, are widely popular not only in Russia but also in many other countries. Total edition has surpassed one million copies.

The Award Ceremony took place at the Polytechnic Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.
