One of the founder of modern neuroscience, Prof. Herbert H. Jasper received the "Albert Einstein" World Award of Science. His entire research career has been characterised by a succession of innovative discoveries, it has served to start unveiling the mysteries of the brain and has also contributed to the understanding of the specificity of normal cortical functions in the control of the motricity.

Robert Rauschenberg, independent painter, graphic artist and photographer whose theme is a combination of art and life was selected as the recipient of the "Leonardo da Vinci" World Award of Arts in recognition of his more than 45 years of fruitful artistic trajectory. He has produced original and pioneering contemporary art works since 1950, playing a leading and influential role in the art world.
